The Discraft Z FLX Heat is an easy way for new and developing players to maximise their distance potential, and has been hailed as something of a breakthrough since its debut as the 2014 Ace Race prototype.  It has a narrower rim than the ultra-long distance drivers giving an easier grip and release, and combined with a lengthy glide phase, the Heat delivers excellent control at slower arm speeds.
